GIFs credits

GIF related issues: I hardly use them but if i do and you’re the author of it please feel free to credit yourselves on my ask so people will know! I can never remember where i got them from so sorry people! But know that most of the authors of my gifs are the people i follow or people they follow. (awesome people btw)

If you do not wish me to use your gif then send me a message through my ask box ok? and i’ll stop using it.

But before any of you leave let me say this, if you make a gif then don’t expect people not to use it (and by use it i mean as a reaction gif not as repost in a photo post or photoset, that i get why, but i personally think that as long as they are credited there could be some exceptions out there, don’t know about them but there could be). I can’t understand why people are so reticent to others using their gifs if i had the time to make one i wouldn’t mind. Stealing art? Worst crime ever among artists. But a gif? if you want people to know you made it put a signature in it i mean you can put text in it put a small signature on the bottom! now if someone were to take out your signature then yes, by all means get pissed! i would be angry as hell! but if you don’t put a signature on it how do you expect people to know you made it and credit you? i have found gifs in random pages that later i found out were made by people on tumblr! same with art, i had pictures saved in my pc for years before i found the author on da.

Anyway i respect people’s choices so if you don’t want me to use it then say so but personally i don’t get it, i would be proud of people using my gif and i would put a signature on it so i wouldn’t have to worry!

And if you are the maker of some of the gifs i’ve used and you don’t mind then thanks mate! you are awesome! and your gif rocks!!
